GPS announce Andrew Moir as new Director of Recruiting
Former FPS General Manager returns in a role to include International Development.
Waltham, 26th September, 2012; Global Premier Soccer would like to announce the appointment of Andrew Moir as the Director of Recruiting and International Projects with immediate effect.
Along with developing international partners, Andrew will be heading up recruitment for all GPS franchises, screening, interviewing and inducting new staff from the UK, Ireland and Europe.
“Moir brings a wealth of experience from his 10 years with GPS,” said GPS Chief Executive Joe Bradley. “He is an ideal candidate for this role having progressed through GPS from an entry level position to General Manager.”
Andrew started with Mass Premier Soccer after he graduated college in June 2003, becoming Marketing and Communications Director at MPS before moving to help establish Florida Premier Soccer as General Manager in 2010. He was with FPS for two years until returning to England to take up a role at the London Olympics.
“I am looking forward to building upon the current recruiting structure at GPS,” said Andrew. “I knew GPS was looking for a year round presence in the UK to head up Recruiting and I’m delighted to be able to take this role after my experiences at the Olympics.”
Andrew will be creating partnerships with Universities, County FA’s and various coaching associations to identify the best candidates for positions with GPS. The interview process will then include office interviews, on-field evaluations and a 2 day Workshop that will be supported by staff from the US.
